About Us

Pioneer Village, operated by the Eyre Peninsula Old Folks Home ,is a modern facility with both high and low levels of care. It is located in picturesque Port Lincoln on lower Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Pioneer Village also incorporates Bishop Lodge which is a secure area specially designed to suit the needs of people with dementia and related disorders.

The Eyre Peninsula Old Folks Home also offers independent living units at Brougham Village for those residents requiring minimal support.

Our Objectives:

Our objectives are to:

  • Celebrate the diversity of all consumers and their families and partner with them in the provision of care;
  • Support frail, older people to live in our residential facility;
  • Support people to participate in the community to the extent that they want to;
  • Support family or other primary caregivers in their role; and
  • Partner with consumers and our staff to provide consumer-centred, effective, efficient and accountable care and support services that achieve the outcomes for consumers specified in the Aged Care Quality Standards.
