Pioneer Village is a modern facility providing accommodation with both high and low levels of care. It offers a comprehensive range of accommodation to suit the many and varied needs of our residents. Care is provided 24 hours a day.

- Reverse cycle air conditioning (individually controlled)

- Built in wardrobes and dressing tables
- Three tastefully decorated lounge rooms with tea and coffee making facilities
- Large Activities kitchen
- Large restaurant style dining room plus small dining area for residents who require extra help
- Country kitchen for guest use
- Hairdressing salon
- Landscaped grounds overlooking the town and Boston Bay
General Nursing Services Provided:
- Feeding
- Showering and dressing
- Continence management
- Pressure area care
- Wound management and dressing. Resident’s dressings can be done by staff at the facility. Some dressing materials may be charged to the resident if low care
- Medication management and administration
- Management of residents with dementia and other neurological problems
- Disease monitoring for diabetic residents, blood taking and other specimen collection as requested
- Finger and toe nail care by staff monthly if required
- Mobility assistance if necessary
- Wheelchairs available for less mobile residents
- Oxygen provided for residents who have this therapy ordered by their medical practitioner

- Palliative care
- Lifter for very frail residents requiring this level of assistance
