Maintenance Officer

Ideally, you will be a “Jack/Jill of All Trades” as the work is quite diverse.

Pioneer Village, operated by the Eyre Peninsula Old Folks Home Inc, is located in picturesque Port Lincoln with a wonderful, relaxed country lifestyle. We are a community based 74-bed residential aged care facility situated at the southern tip of Eyre Peninsula in Port Lincoln, South Australia. As a primary provider of residential care and dementia services for the aged of the Southern Eyre Peninsula, we provide quality care and services to our clients in a manner that maintains and respects their individuality and dignity.

We are a Public Benevolent Institution so our employees can salary sacrifice up to $15,899 per annum TAX FREE, each FBT year.

You will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with some out of hours work. We will consider part-time for the right employee.

• Prefer someone with building qualifications and/or carpentry qualifications
• Knowledge of minor mechanical repairs
• Experience working in aged care would be advantageous but not essential

Must have a current “Car” Driver’s Licence.
